One of television’s most visible anchors and personalities, Rich Eisen was a mainstay on ESPN’s SportsCenter from 1996-2003 before becoming the first on-air talent added at the NFL Network in June 2003, five months before the network’s launch in November of 2003.

As a four-time Emmy nominee for “Outstanding Studio Host,” Eisen can be seen Sunday morning’s throughout the NFL season hosting the network’s Emmy-nominated NFL GameDay Morning. As the signature host of the NFL Network, Eisen also serves as the emcee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Canton, Ohio, and also anchors the network’s special on location coverage of the NFL Draft, NFL Scouting Combine and Super Bowl.

In 2014, Eisen created The Rich Eisen Show. Now in its sixth year, the Emmy nominated show originates out of Los Angeles, CA and features an engaging mix of sports, humor and pop culture, while attracting the most recognizable names in sports and entertainment, including Tom Brady, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Matthew McConaughey, Regina King, Aaron Rodgers, Larry David, Morgan Freeman and more. The show airs nationally from noon-3PM ET on Peacock TV and numerous radio affiliates.

This February, Eisen will launch Just Getting Started, an original podcast distributed the Westwood One where he will interview the biggest names from news, entertainment, sports, and pop culture, discussing their career origins and mining their stories on how they got started in a format where audiences can be inspired by their endeavors.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Eisen earned a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1994. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Suzy Shuster. Together they have three children and two rescue dogs.

(NEWS RELEASE) – Pensacola, Fla. (March 10th, 2025) – Whether you run or walk, everyone is invited to participate in the 2025 Navy Federal 5K. Join us on Saturday, April 5, as we celebrate the 15th annual Navy Federal Credit Union 5K Run/Walk/Roll in downtown Pensacola. Early registration is now open at a discounted rate of $18 for adults and $15 for youth, ages 5-13. Children 6 and under can also participate in the Sammie Sprint, a free quarter-mile race around Plaza Ferdinand.

Participation in this event benefits the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation, which funds projects and programs, including Grants for Excellence and employee appreciation programs.  This event will also benefit the Santa Rosa Education Foundation. Their mission is to enhance and raise awareness of public education.

The early registration discount is available through March 23; however, registration will remain open until the start of the race.Registration is required for all participants and includes a race shirt.

This race is designed to be fun for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Awards are given for top male/female/hand cyclist or wheelchair user overall finishers and top 3 male/female users in each age group. After the race, there will be refreshments and entertainment.
